Well folks, that's the end of the Group matches and greg continues to defy the odds by holding on to the top spot for the third round in a row. But with eight rounds left, and the favourites within striking distance, surely greg is on borrowed time. My prediction for the wooden spoon is off the mark at the moment but Vrock is down to half a team now with the early exit of Pakistan and India.

A new leader! Swantastic takes the "yellow jersey". Without Pakistan and India in the Super 8s we should see a few of the early leaders start their slide into the bottom half of the rankings. Can greg maintain a Top 10 position? Can cantplaycantalk avoid the wooden spoon? simo_rulzzz has a deficit of over 900 points to make up. Can he do it?

Swantastic almost 200 points ahead now and looking hard to beat. Still time for the others but I didn't see any strong moves in that round.

I think from this point on the winner will probably come from the current top 5. Good luck for the rest of the game, Colly. You did well to be that close.

Well, I am in the top 5 so I think I'm still 'doing' well!!! I'm definitely not out of it.

Swantastic remains the leader and looks like the winner with a comfortable buffer. Colly creeps up another place into 4th. I did a dumb thing in my team - please don't do this. Why did I pick Hussey to be captain when he bats down the order in a strong batting side? He was never likely to get a bat against the minnows and even against the good sides he was never going to have time to make a big score.

I'm defying the odds at the moment with a good 400 points to my advantage to prevent me from getting the wooden spoon.

Not sure if I'll add many more to my total but you never know.

greg starting to slide now. simo_rulzzz slowly improving his position but not likely to win - top 10 finish best hope. samba22 moves into outright 2nd ahead of Paul who continues to surprise. Vrock looks safe to avoid the wooden spoon. Colly slips to 5th again and his challenge has probably ended. Top 10 finish is good, though.

Here's a strong move by mattw2323 as he cuts Swantastic's lead to a little over 300. Has time run out, though? Only one more round of Super 8 matches to go and then into the finals. Still a lot of chances for a top 10 position. Good luck everyone as we run down the straight to the finish line.
