Let’s kick start the New Cricket Game in the forum. I request for only 10 minutes of your time. 5 minutes to read the Rules and 5 minutes per game.
Here’s a broad outline of how it works : Your team sends the organizer (me) a PM of how you are going to bowl and bat. So does your opponent. We compare it with the “Scoring System” to get your runs scored and thus, the Winner.

I also request for the support and participation of members, senior and the rest.

Section 1 : Teams
1.1 A Team shall consist of 5 players. Teams may also consist of more than 5 players, but only 5 can play in a game.

1.2 Members wishing to participate may list themselves here. Teams can then be formed through member interaction.

1.3 Each member shall elect his Team Name. All member should give their bowling and batting stats before the match. If late then that will lost his match.

1.4 Tournaments may be designed by the host and be in any format.

Section 2 : Batsmen & Bowlers

2.1 Teams shall classify each of it’s players before the game starts. Bowlers must be classified into “Pace bowlers” or “Spin bowlers”. Classification of batsmen is not required.

2.2 Shot types available for Batsmen -
- Cover drive
- Square cut
- Straight drive
- Defense
- Hook shot
- Leg glance

2.3 Ball variations available for Bowlers -
- Pace Bowlers
- In Swing
- Out swing
- Straight Ball
- Slow Ball
- Spin bowlers
- Off spin
- Leg spin
- Straight ball
- Slow Ball

Section 3 : Game rules
3.1 All players in the team shall bat for 6 balls, one after the other, in the order specified by the Manager of Team.

3.2 All players in the team shall bowl 6 balls, one after the other, in the order specified by the Manager of Team.

3.3 The Team Manager shall choose the choices of his players and send a PM to the tournament Me. (Please see sample game below)

3.4 The team which sends the first PM has the option of choosing whether to bat or bowl first.

3.5 That is, Bowling choices of Team B, Over 1 compared with Batting Choices of Team A for the respective overs.

3.6 PMs of both teams will be compared by tournament organizer (ME) and runs awarded based on scoring system laid out in Section 4.

3.7 In case a batsman is declared out (as per scoring system) the player listed next will start batting immediately. After completion of his 6 balls, next player shall continue batting. Players who retire but are not out shall continue in the same order after all players have completed batting.

Team B - Bowling
Over 1 - Player8 - Pace bowler
1.1 In swing
1.2 In swing
1.3 Out swing
1.4 Straight ball
1.5 Out swing
1.6 Out swing

Hence,
1.1 Player8 to Player1, In swing, Straight drive, 3 runs
1.2 Player8 to Player1, In swing, Leg glance, 4 runs
1.3 Player 8 to Player1, Out swing, Straight drive, 3 runs
1.4 Player8 to Player1, Straight Ball, Hook shot, OUT
1.5 Player8 to Player 2, Out swing, Cover drive, 4 runs
1.6 Player8 to Player 2, Out swing, Straight drive, 2 runs

Team A - Score after 1 over - 16 runs for 1 wicket

With this u will be easy and there will no need of writing Bowler type Pacer or Spinner as the bowler name will tell.

1. i am making it easy for you 5 members of this forum makes the team with their own names and they must choose a captain.
2. By this every member just have to Pm to his captain to give him only his predictions not the full match prediction that is Batsman give his playing predictions to his Captain and so the bowler.
3. Then Captain give the pm to me after collecting all predictions.
4. Now this will be simple.
