I should know the correct procedure, but I'm afraid I don't! Still, I'm happy with the result if these guys can't get their finger out to name their subs

I'm sure one of the guys who know a bit more about the Fantasy Cricket module would have told you if you'd done anything wrong, so I'm sure its fine... But don't quote me on it! Sorry I can't be of more help

No problem. Well done with picking your team. I cant' say I've had much luck this time round. Hadn't paid much attention to the SA v Aus series but o well.

Just to clarify things up for the confused:

Point six was incorrect...

Bond being replaced will count as he was injured just before the first test and then completely ruled out of the series. Game creators, please be aware of all of the rules on substitutions before you create the game. If you are unsure please contact me via PM and I will help to clarify things for you.

Thanks, Vrock

Thanks Vrock, I did read the rules previously but the point there is confusion on was when to make the replacements. Is the game creator supposed to wait till the end of the series or does it not matter?

Sittingduck, when I create games I wait until the end of the game (after scoring the last match) before editing managers teams to swap players with reserves. The points will be recalculated automatically. When I post the match-by-match results, I'll mention that the points are provisional until the reserves have been swapped in to replace injured or rested players. A fringe player who doesn't get a game is neither injured nor out for a rest, he just wasn't selected to play although he is available for selection.
