The Ashes 2006/7

I will create this game for the five-match test series.

I will post up the squads and create the game in the next few hours.

Australian Squad

1. RT Ponting (captain)
2. SR Clark
3. AC Gilchrist (wicketkeeper)
4. ML Hayden
5. MEK Hussey
6. MG Johnson
7. JL Langer
8. B Lee
9. GD McGrath
10. DR Martyn
11. SW Tait
12. SK Warne
13. SR Watson

I am also going to include Stuart MacGill, Andrew Symonds, Michael Clarke and Phil Jaques.

This should cover us if there is an injuries to one of the Australian players.

Please remember, though, there are no guarantees any of the extra players will even get into the squad!

Help - Hussey is not currently appearing as an option!

Would it also be possible to re-designate Collingwood in as a batsman? He's not playing as an all-rounder any more than Ponting is playing as an all-rounder: neither are really expected to bowl.

Hussey has now been added to the game. I do apologize, I must have missed him first time round.

I understand your point full and I agree with you. But currently (in the squads) only two truly-regarded all rounders are listed in each squad (Flintoff and Watson) and given that Watson might just miss some of the tests then I think Paul Collingwood is the next best option to have as an all rounder (you can generally bank on his fielding getting some points in the match and, depending on how many bowlers England play in a match, he could bowl a bit more than Ponting might).

I'm going to leave him as an allrounder purely to keep the game more open.
