I'm open to other suggestions or adding players/changing ratings , but I would like some kind of definitive list before the end of August.
Ratings are not intended to reflect players ability!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I've misspelt anyone's name, please correct me!

I have an excel file set up to score using the same method as Daily telegraph, so can we keep that scoring system?
I'll put a closing date for team entries for midnight Sunday, 5th September 2004 .

Those rules

Rules.
  1. Only one team per player. Think about your selection.
  2. Teams must be selected like this.Your team Must come from the Daily Telegraph list( see links above) plus my additions . Your team must total less than 60 total points, 11 players (5 batsmen, 1 All rounder, 1 wicket keeper, 4 bowlers). You must also choose a captain within these 11 who scores double points , including MINUS points.
  3. Submit your team by PM to me, with the ratings next to the players you've chosen by the 5th September. I wont accept teams after this time. After you have PM 'd me your team, you may also wish to post your team on this thread to stimulate discussion, laughter, debate et al.
  4. 10 substitutions. This is generous I suppose, so no more than 1 per day. Tell me who your swapping.Unless you swap before the official start of play, your swap won't be legal. Ask for a confirmation.
  5. Scoring willl be as outlined in this thread. It will be updated on the 17th and 26th September.
  6. The winner will be the team(s) with the most points at the end of the game.
  7. The prizes are warm glowing feelings, plus bragging rights.
  8. This contest is limited to 30 teams on a first come, first served basis.
  9. Anyone who cheats will be disqualified from this competition (and possibly from future competitions) .
  10. WAT has the final word. Period.
  11. I/Admin reserves the right to amend these rules/cancel the competition .
Any questions can be Pm'd to ME. (richard jenkins).

Ern, I think YBF meant Thorpe isnt in the England Squad so wont play in the CT at all.

Sorry to everyone else for helping the opposition a bit more but us Lancs fans need to support each other.
