ICCCT Fantasy contest?

Would people be interested in an ICCCT fantasy contest. A mini series type thing that would use the same player list and rules and scoring as DailyTorygraph/WAT but would run from 10th september to the final, with peple choosing thier teams between now and the 10th of september.
You could change your team say 10 times using a PM/Email, and I'd be prepared to score for say 30 people max.

Vote in the poll

I'll give it a shot - even though my past attempts have proven conclusively that I should never, ever be asked to select ateam...even at under 5's football!!

how to play

If you want to play. Please could you choose the players and post them here, and use the players from the Daily telegraph site, see link below and I'll try to score using their system.
So let me know who is your captain!
scores like this

Appearance +1

Fielding:
Each catch taken +5
Each stumping +20

Bowling:
Each wicket taken +30
Each 5 runs conceded -1

Batting:
Each run scored +1
Each duck -30 (does not apply to players listed as bowlers)

Your captain will score double points (including minus points) at all times.
How do I pick a team?

Study the player list (http://www.fantasycricket.telegraph.co.uk/playlist.pdf) and choose 11 players. You must choose:

5 batsmen
1 wicket keeper
1 all-rounder
4 bowlers
The players have a rating and you are responsible for keeping the team below 60. If you cheat then no prizes.!!

A player can only be selected once in your team. You can choose as many players from one country as you like but the combined ratings of your players must be 60 or less.

You must nominate one player from each chosen eleven to be your captain, who will score double points.

Substitutions(10) in this version . PM me and ask for a reciept. If you change before the official start of play i’ll credit your changes.

You may change your captain once (included in the 10 changes)

just a little question: can we pick an allrounder i.e gayle as a specialist bat/bowl? - i'm assuming not

oh yeah and do you think a better list could be made by someone??? i know it involves a lot of work but the telegraph one is slightly outdated and there are no india/pak players?

Yubeingfunny,
I think it would be difficult to run a different list with the Telegraph system without quite a bit of disruption. I run one of these for our team which I could copy if i could get a reasonable list together as my version is quite simple to run after I have made the initial spreadsheet. I'll look into it over the next day or so and let you know but I think it would be a choice of use what we have or, if possible, I (or someone else) design and run another along the same format.
