I am not sure if it's technically feasible/permitted.

Even if it is, some members might not like them, as banner signatures break the flow of the thread and the posts, as do large font sizes in signatures.

I know where you are coming from; its tempting to individualise one's posts and profile through a banner signature. Maybe you can use this through the Avatar? That is one place where everyone has complete license (withing reason of course!) to be creative and express their individuality

I guess ur right.Thanx for the info anyways.Actually it was just most of the forums ive seen allow members to that;to-as u said-help the members establish their individuality. So i was wondering if that applied to this forum.Anyways;its evident this forum is unique.Im a member of so many forums;but this is the best. The rest(including mine) are just filled with teenyboppers while this place has more mature people.keep up the good work guys!

When posting, the editor contains [IMG] tags to allow users to show images in their posts. This has been disabled in signatures because the image size can't be limited and it would probably annoy some members to read a short post with a huge banner underneath. Also it would increase download time, particularly for dial-up users. We've also limited text size in sigs. Although the options range up to size 7 the larger sizes default to size 2 when the sig is saved.
