Hi All,

I am seeking nominations from members who would like to be more actively involved on the board by doing some Moderator duties. By becoming a Moderator you will be able to participate in discussions relating to the management of the board with myself, Rachael, Ernest, RWS, Oliver, Richie Benauds Love Child, Andy Mellon, Maranello and Shaka. Our discussion forum is called Moderator Muses which is only accessible by moderators.

Moderators have thread management permissions to Move, Sticky, Edit and Delete threads and posts in order to maintain the quality of discussions. In addition, sometimes it is necessary for mods to PM other members that have broken a forum rule to politely request that they be more careful and uphold the forum and posting rules in future.

If you think you'd like to try it for a stint of three months or more then PM me and I'll consider your nomination.

No, 'cause I need moderation my self from time to time

That's why I've taken on three new mods, Zainub. Between the eleven of us (ocean's eleven) we should be able to see that you don't get away with too much.

On the subject of new mods - they are Beny (Aus), vvvrulz (Ind) and Occasional Fan (Eng). Congratulations fellas and thanks for volunteering some of your online time to help keep the board friendly and develop the community spirit within it.

Also thanks to the current and previous mods for your efforts in creating a pleasant and popular board to post on.

If anyone else is thinking of doing a stint of modding in the future you can improve your chances of being accepted by keeping your posts good-natured, avoid getting involved in slanging matches, and reporting posts which break the forum rules.
