Banning advertised links

I know I'm not a Moderator, but reading a post from admin about the advertised links (saying they could leave WAT open to copyright or something) have got to me.

An idea I propose is that a member, and not an advertiser (eg 10+ posts that are normal) can only advertise a website, otherwise getting rid of it to guests.

I'll leave it open to discussion..

Once people join it's difficult to prevent them from posting links in their posts for their first 10 posts. It's easy to prevent links altogether by censoring http: and www but that would apply across the board. Allowing guests to post a link in Advertised Links has reduced the number of advertisers joining but some unethical people still join and spam our board. Usually, they are quickly spotted by one of our mods who then apply a ban on them to block them posting.
