Hi
I am trying to find a list of celebrity cricket fans, especially those in the music industry. Would you have such a list or know where I could obtain this info?

Keli
This came to me via the Contact Us form. Can anyone help?

Not much help but ...

Doesn't Mick Jagger go to a lot of Test Matches? Some one out of McFly (is that music?) was on the cricket show on Saturday.

I read somewhere that some musician called Freddie McGregor enjoys a bit of cricket when he can. Though I can't be sure, I'm not even sure if I've remebered the name correctly....can anyone confirm, is Freddie McGregor a musician?

I'm afraid I know no such musician but there are other celebrities who fill the criteria...

1) Finnish midfielder, Aki Riihilahti.

2) AC Milan and Italy striker, Christian Vieri.

3) American tennis player, Venus Williams.

Venus Williams? Since when did she become a cricket fan...

And if it counts...pretty much all the local celebs in sub continent are cricket fans ... here are some names from the top of my mind

Pop band Strings, featuring Bilal Maqsood and Faisal Kapadia
Pop musician cum social worker Shehzad Roy
Rock musicians Ali Azmat and Dr. Salman Ahmed
Pop musician turned actor Ali Haider
Fashion tycon, producer, director and actor Humayoon Saeed
Fashion designer cum actor & model Aaijaz Aslam
Actors Adnan Siddiqui and Sajid...

there are lots of others..but these I recall from the top of my mind, many of these mentioned above were a part of a Humayoon Saeed led Pakistani Celebrety XI that took on an Indian Celebrity XI in several charity matches played in the United Arab Emirates, some of these were organised by the Zindagi (meaning life) Charity run by Shehzad Roy, who gives young street kids money in return for studying if they agree to stop begging . I remember that the Pakistani Celebs won, and that the matches were televisied and were fairly popular with the masses.

I don't really know how interested she is in cricket, Zainub but I just read somewhere (quite a while ago) that she was following some cricket match in England. Maybe she just follows the game occasionally.
