Cricket Balls

Hi
I live in Canada, and cricekt equipment is hard to come by.There are only a handful of outlets, who charge u an arm and a leg.I had two questions.
Ive heard that balls made in south asia arent good quality and can break ur bat,so i have to go for the more expensive Austrailian balls(kockoburra, platypus). How is the "Davidson" brand of balls?

Does anyone know a good(and trustworthy) online source for cricket balls. Here we have to pay around $45-60 for a good kockoburra ball, depending on quality.

Thanks in advance.

Anyone here from Toronto area?

I couldn't find the manufacturer of Davidson cricket balls but sellers on ebay are from India.

Readers over here in England are a good quality. My club use these balls that are made for my league. The MDCA. But in the nets and in normal matchs we use a red readers ball.

In cup games we used an orange ball. That is similar to the white ball because instead of wearing and tearing it just loses its coating which makes it very hard to shine and polish.

Hello haroon22. I am afraid that I can't help you with your cricket ball problem.
I am also from Toronto but have now moved to Pakistan.
At toronto I went to Kasoka (don't know the spelling) club. If you are good at cricket why don't you try over there- come to think of it they also have cricket balls.

It might be cheap in Guyana, I don't know what the exchange rate is but I'd hazard a guess that it's something like £5 or thereabouts.
