I dissagree. There is good bounce and turn and pleanty for the bowlers to work with. I think it's a good allround pitch.

Aus off to a flyer with the run rate at about 5 in the first few overs. There is a very fast out feild.

The pitch is an absolute belter. The bowlers can atmost try to work out the bouce. There is no lateral movement off the pitch, neither is there any swing.

Harbhajan looked alright even the ninth over.

That was someone in the thread for the 1st Test I think.. suggested he was old and past it as I recall...

That wasn't just the tail crumbling.. that was the entire upper and lower middle order as well!

Gladly: that was 62 runs from the nos 3 and 4 (and off 159 deliveries: 2.3 per over from engine room of the team that bats sides out of a game at a great rate to give themselves times to get the opposition out)..

The engine-room failure was eclipsed by a lower-middle order / tail scorecard that read "0, 5, 3, 4, 5, 4, 2".

An aging slow bowler (recently branded "past it") who doesn't get much turn on the ball took 7/48 off 17.3 overs as the Aussies capitulated inside 2 sessions.. and all 10 wickets fell for fewer than 100 runs: 136 without loss to 235.
