Steve Waugh would be choking on his Castlemaine's XXXX if he watched that going on. A good day for India but getting Yuvraj's wicket in the last over of the day was a crucial blow. India have still got to do what they failed to in the last game and that is put up some runs. Tomorrow will decide whether India can get an upper hand or if it's going to be a close one right through the five days.

Agree with the fact that Steve Waugh will be having some sleepless nights now. It's a nightmare for him and he must be ashamed of the players who walked.

There was nothing crucial about getting Yuvraj out. India should be thankful to Yuvraj for hanging around there for almost 12 overs. Actually, he tried to get out in the very first over itself, but somehow Clarke dropped an simple catch.

The most important men will be Sehwag and Dravid. I want to see how the play tomorrow.

Feeling ashamed? Well maybe that's putting it too strongly but three batsmen walking...players offering their place to up and coming newcomers...it's a far cry from Steve waugh's approach

Point I am making is that You cant call Indian Attack on homespoil Mediocre or spent force. The fact that In last 10 yrs they lost only one Test series at home means they are definitly good at home and anyone who make a score of 150 in these conditions should be respected.

I do not think the pitch is trecherous by any means. I will be no dout on days 4 & 5. But right now, I think it's a good surface to bat on. Aussies fell to the standard trick of jabbing at the ball and popping up catches to close-in fielders.

If the Indian batsmen can play well, on what looks to be a very good pitch to bat on for atleast two more days, then Aussies will have a hard time, no matter how good they play there after.

Auusie bowlers main threat to India was the new ball which has been seen off. This situation reminds me of our team...I always think that if our opening batsmen can see off the new ball against India or Sri Lanka, Inzimam and Youhanna are such sublime players of spin bowling that the game is as good as won. Indian batsmen are also great players of spin bowling but I still say Shane Warne is no ordinairy spin bowler. Any guy who can get one to turn a yard is always a threat. Irfan pathan as a leftie will neutralise much of this threat and if these two put on any sort of partnership tomorrow with Ganguly, Laxman, Dravid and Kaif still to follow it will be tough for the Aussies.

I think the point of the batsmen walking is to make the umps decision eaisier in what are very difficult circumstances. As far as i'm concerned good on them.

Shaka, I do agree with you. I think Warne will the ball, but still given the comfort with which Indian batsmen played him on a wearing B'lore pitch, I think they will play him alright. Apparently Terry Jenner thinks Warne is bowling too flat at the moment. The article here here.

I'm anxious about Sehwag's play. If he plays well, he can take the game away from the Aussies real quick. The other batsmen can then just support him. The opening hour tomorrow is going to be exciting.

If India can't win from here then they will never win. It only really matters to the Indians as this is a four match series.

Still Its going to be good watching the next few days.
