Well, I'm not against technology, but the amount of time it's going to take is something not acceptable to me. Add to it, the pressure the technology is going put on the umpires. If these things can be streamlined and a the tempo of the game is not distracted, I'm not against it. Also, I think the umps have a certain value and rights. They should give their decision without any aid.

I agree abt the pressure on umpires,but thats their job.Otherwise theres no difference between an umpire and a layman.

Haha yeah, probably heaps were made and nobody batted an eyelid. Now the whole show is on camera. Every angle.

Right,but the need of the hour is improved umpiring standards.I mean,the ICC wants to expand its base over the world,so it needs to be a bit more convincing in asserting its supremacy.

very true maddy but too much focus on umpires forces them into mistakes me thinks

They trialed using the TV umpire for lbw's during the Knockout Trophy in Sri Lanka, it was successful, why not persist with it !
