| Now India will play only tests against Australia and SA who incidentally are the two top ranked test teams at present. Indian performance against Australia and Pakistan has had Indian fans on a high of late. Let us hope that the Indians do not rest on their laurels and guard against complacency.Bowling appears to be the achilles heal for India. Let us hope that our quick bowlers especially the youngsters like Pathan and Balaji have continued to progress in the off season. At present our bowlers look capable of taking wickets only if backed by a total of 600 plus. One would like our bowlers to succeed in those matches also when the batsmen have scored in the region of 350 to 400. |
