India in Asia cup

what do you say about India's performance in upcoming Asia cup
They look to be preparing hard and so are Pakistan
also Lanka is playing down under..so will be warmed up.
and it will be a big test for minnows like UAE, HongKong..
so looking forward to a great battle ahead..
any predictions..

also i dont expect all the matches to complete..
cause its monsoon time...
i don't understand why on earth there are important matches played in
srilanka in this time of the year when it pours like anything...
i say 4-5 matches will be played completely at max...not more than that..
i hope imp matches between IND-PAK-LANKA are not washed out...

look if india and srilanka make it to the 2nd round ,india will play bangladesh , and srilanka will play pak in smifinals

so india is sure to come to finals and win it

ru forgetting that only 2 teams from each group will got to the next round ,do u think india will lose to uae ?

no in first grp pak and bang will go thru and then in second one Ind and sl will qualify
but then again ind will have to play all the three in second phase..
but they will surely make it to the final..no doubt..
also now bhajji and khan are back in full flow
also pathan and JAI balaji...together they will cut all others off..

Well, i do hope India can win the Asia Cup. But you are right.... we need to pray to the rain gods to help us out. And don't be so sure of Bangladesh going through to the secong round, because we haven't seen Hong Kong play as yet. They have a rich cricketing tradition having been under the British rule for many years. The first cricket club in Hong Kong was set up way back in the 1850s! They might have a few surprises in store.
By the way, I do not think the tournament has any semifinals at all - which is good, because I hate knockout matches. Many a times you see the better team having a bad day and then they have no way back.
I just wish they had a best of three finals. In that case India definitely would definitely have won. There is no doubt that India is the best team in the fray. I just hope we don't have any BAD days!! Cheers!!
