Man of the Series India vs. Pakistan Test Series

Who will it be in this brilliant series.

Can the Pakistanis wrestle back the trophy or do India simply have too much class??

I think India are vunerable, but should come right in this series and win the tussle.\
Man of the series for me will be Virender Sehwag.

India do have class in the batting, their bowling though, barring the spin department is more promise then class, last time they beat us our batsmen's shortcoming rather than the greatness of their pace bowlers was responsible for how the likes of Balaji and Pathan succeeded, in any case they did deserve credit, which I'm willing ready to give them.

I do think though that we have come along some way forward since they last time we played. Although a few of the problems we faced then still remain in the shape of an unsettled top order and an underperforming bowling attack, but hopefully with a tough tour to Australi now behind us, mentally as well as physically we will be much better prepaired for what will undoutedly be a high octane clash then India whose last outings in test cricket were against unfancied Bangladesh.

I have voted for Inzamam, as I have always felt he reserves his best for the Indians, hopefully this series will be the one where he will prove his increasing number of doubters wrong.

I actually agree with you Zainub, their key is to sort out who will take the first four/five batting slots. Once they get a bit of balance, they have enough batting talent to foot it with the Indians.

Red face There are other players also!

It is a very hard prediction to make!
However, personally none of them will be a definte contender as many there are many standing in quew to embellish their performance. I think Razzaq and Zaheer Khan are two prolific players for the man of the series.
Lets see how the match turns out to be

Yohanna will show his true class in the series, the problem is he will be on the losing side and therefore wont get the vote.

Number three is the most important position as far as batting is concerned, given the fragile opening pairs both the teams have. I guess one of the number three's will win the series for his team and since Rahul Dravid is clearly a class apart from whoever Pakistan play in that position, my vote has gone to Dravid.
