No one expected Zaheer to catch rythm right away. His bad luck he got a bad pitch. Ya, even I am missing Balaji. But nice to see the competition here. Balaji, Zaheer, RP Singh, Agarkar, Pathan. Better than those times when Indian bowling meant Srinath and Prasad and no one else.

Where is Balaji is he injured? I can still remember the series in 2004 when he slapped a six off Shoaib Akhatar, he became a cult hero among the Pakistan crowd because of that six! Everytime he went to the boundary to field you could hear the crown cheering "Balaji! Balaji!".

Balaji is down with injury and could not even play for Tamil Nadu. The good news is that he's recovering fast and has started to bowl in the nets. As for the series being drawed, I think it would be too early to say that. We dont know how the pitch would be for the 3rd test and they say as the 2nd test progresses the pitch will get better for the spinners...

What a great day's play it was! Dhoni was simply amazing in his innings of 116. He simply demolished the pakistani bowlers and put them in their place especially Shoaib Akthar who was sledging at him. Dhoni has become a hero, a trouble-shooter for the Indian cricket team! How much do u think Dhoni will end up scoring? I think he would score at least 150.

Dhoni was amazing today he really played well considering the amount of pressure he was in. I heard from a friend who was watching the match that he was playing shots that were never seen before, i must say Dhoni is something special.

I am hoping he can stay there until tea tommorow, India need a lead of 200 to win this match. Remember Pakistan are 2 batsmen short in Inzamam and Malik. Im sure Kumble and Harbhajan can spin us to victory on the 5th day wicket.

I haven't been watching this match on TV as I don't have the channel so could anybody tell me how he was behind the stumps? Is his keeping up to the standards required at this level? Is it better than Kathik's?

If Dhoni makes a double ton at his usual speed, India could well win the match with Pakistan batting on a fifth day pitch.

Frustrating......looking for a result in this series is like a wild goose chase. The host country, it looks to me, want to rule out any possibility of a loss. The series will end up in a similar fashion. I wonder what kind if pitch we will see for the one dayers. There is no option of a draw there. Someone will win irrespective of what the pitch is like. Will Pakistan still try to protect its batting line up? Or will it give some scope to the bowlers to have a go at the Indian batting line up is the question.

Frustratingly no-one particularly wants to win and seems happy with a draw- what happened to declaring on 250 or so? Bring back Graeme Smith :P even though I dislike him someone needs guts to declare on 250. Pakistan and India have brilliant batsmen and great fielding and bowling - what happened to the bowling?
Its almost like a batting survival match.
