What do you think about this guys? I myself think its a right decision, he needs some games under his belt to regain that form he had last season.

I hope he finds his groove soon because im going to be very, very disspointed if he turns into another Agarkar.

Pathan has definitely disappointed lately and it is not because of lack of talent. I think there was too much hype when he started out. And by that I mean, they gave him too much praise without giving him time to prove his consistency. And he suddenly lost his way, never quite got back to his old self and then, it was only a matter of time before he'd be given the boot.

As for him being another Agarkar, I know Agarkar is one inconsistent guy, but there have been times when he was chucked out of the team, after pretty good performances, to 'make way for someone else'. That sort of stuff doesn't really do wonders for anybody's confidence i suppose. There are so many instances of people who were shown the door once and never got back. Balaji, Kaif, Akash Chopra. Even Zaheer Khan had a long wait before he made it back into the team. Ganguly was probably the luckiest.
