Congratulations Sehwag on a great performance

Even if the pitch was bad, it takes a great batsman for a performance like that. He set the tone right for the rest of series. I hope he keeps up this form.

Even given such a good batting strip, you still need to score the runs. A very good, entertaining innings by Virender, not one that will go down in test history though.

He did score the second faster ever double hundred so there is a little bit of history within the innings. Although they weren't too difficult to come by with pitch being so useless for the bowlers.

If Pakistan provides him a similar pitch in the next match, he will break all records in test cricket.

yes, i agree but hopfully weather doesn't come in the way of india again. i was for sure to say that sehwag could have broken the world record of lara for sure if it wasnt for the bad light, bad light continuous for 3 days that is rediculous. lets hope pakistan leave the pitch as it is, if they do it is strongly to say that sehwag might be ready for a world record.
