Raina: light on his feet

Cricinfo have offered a great writeup of Suresh Raina: see here.

Where ten years ago a batsman would push a good-length ball on the front foot to cover, he now stays put and flays the ball through point; even tail-enders now happily manage this. It has been a pleasure, then, to watch the two splendid half-centuries made over the last week at Faridabad and at Goa by young Suresh Raina, and to observe how much his batting owes to his supremely light feet.
Raina is emerging as one to watch before he's even played a single Test: along with Butt, Bell and Clarke.... he looks set to carry the torch for the perfectionists amongst us...

Thats a nice article Rachel. Raina definitely is a very good prospect. He is yet to prove a few things though. When expectations rise and pressure mounts, the real character of a batsman comeout. He is definitely talented and has a good temperament. Lets see how his career graph moves now.
