But given the option, I dont think too many players will take such breaks, insecurity is worse than the tough schedules.

Does it make sense to play a full series against England within a few days of completing an exhausting series against Pakistan? Similarly playing 14 ODIs in a space of 2 months on top of the test matches is definately a scheduling issue. Now the Indians are off to the WIndies in a couple of weeks. After all players are not robots although they will keep playing as long as there is reward for them in terms of the money they receive. But at what cost??

As it is we are already seeing a lot of players either being rested, rotated or opting out of certain version of the game afftecting the overall quality of the matches.

Even from a spectators point of view too much supply of cricket is bound to lessen the interest. If India plays Pakistan 25 times a year in neutral countries, what good can it do to the game itself or the players themselves?? A carefully planned schedule is not only good for the game but the players, specatators and all around except perhaps the Sponsors (TV) companies and the cricket boards.
