Devang Gandhi retires

Devang Gandhi, the former Indian Test opener and Bengal batsman, has retired from first-class cricket. Gandhi said his motivation levels had gone down.

Talking Good for bengal

More than the motivation his technique against the fast bowlers was not very convincing even in domestic circuit he was not a prolific run getter and a very very slow boring batsmen. He also wasted oppurtunities he got in australia in 2000,and we have much much better batsmen than him right now even in our INdia A team.So there is no possibility even in his wild dreams that he could be selected for the India A team,so its nothing surprise to hear from saying that there is no motivation to play anymore.Remember even great batsmen like saurav and laxman are not getting chance to play for indian team so Devang gandhi quitting the first class cricket will not shatter the indian cricket followers
cheers

Gandhi retires

Yeah, he sure wasnt very convincing against quicks. Bengal's new opener Arindham Das forced him out. Devang was just not getting runs. What about SS Das, S. Ramesh? What are they upto?
