I cant name just one player. Eventhough Tendulkar is an awsome player theres people like Dravid, Shewag, Laxman who make runs also. My favarotie comprises of Dravid, Tendulkar, Shewag, Yuvraj, Kaif and Dhoni. I cant choose between them.

As we can see from your picture! Dravid is also my favourite Indian player. He plays it so late, it's almost like he's got slow motion vision. If one man had to bat to save a match, you'd want it to be Dravid. But he's not just a blocker, as he can play very good attacking shots when he needs to. He's a very good ODI player and can pace an innings better than almost anyone.

That's right! It's got to be Rahul Dravid for me too.

I first saw him play in the 2002 England tour, a test series dominated by Dravid and Vaughan.

Dravid was simply magnificent, accumulating runs with a beautiful array of strokes while valuing his wicket apparently more than most. Mongoose's description is pretty good, Dravid plays late and watches the ball closely to counter any sort of seam, spin or swing movement. He plays with such a lovely straight bat, presenting the full face, that it appears his is a wider bat than others.

The perfect defensive technique, paired with an ability to dispatch the bad ball to the boundary, Dravid would be unlucky not to get into any cricket fan's world XI. The perfect number three in my opinion and a great anchor for any innings.

Thumbs up Dravid the Great

Anytime, any day,any where it is Rahul the wall for me
the only indian batsmen in the last 74year of indian cricket to contribute highest percentage of match winning innings in test matches for india(tendulkar obviously the great for ODI's)

My Ideal Indian Test Team Batting orderwise(only considering current crop of players not the retired ones)
Virender Sehwag
Wasim Jaffer/Gautham Gambir(i would really like gambir for his fast scoring but unfortunately he is also too fragile as a opener)
Rahul Dravid
Sachin Tendulkar
VVS Laxman/Yuvraj Singh(even though he is below par during windies tour still i would prefer him rather than Kaif)
Mahi Dhoni(WK)
Irfan Pathan
Anil Kumble
Ramesh Powar(yes no harbhajan, for me he can not play any pitch except mumbai,no flight no around the wicket tactics makes very predictable, especially no effective against left handers.I would rate ramesh powar 100 time bettre than the over hyped harbhajan)
S.Sreesanth
Munaf Patel
So my test team might get criticism from some of you for not having harbhajan and kaif. But i dont get confidence on these two especially in foreign surfaces
similarly i am not keeping either yuvraj or laxman as a permenant elevn due to their inconsistent performance

any comments about my team?

tendulkar still on top

tendulkar still has very vital role in tests matches. When tendulkar was at his(96-00),then no one including rahul were as skilled as tendulkar, and there was no DHONI,noYUVRAJ,no kaif to support him.Rahul became a good player after the series against australia in 03
