i agree that there is an end to every story ....but it's up to him whether he'll decide to retire or not ......we can't give suggestions to him to quit.....as far as i am concerned he'll retire after making 50 centuries in each ODI and TESTS........and if lara and inzy can do it at the age of 38 and 36(i suppose) ..then why can't sachin ....it's all about the love for the game ...and the desire to play ...that's it...

No doubt about Tendulkar's acheivements, however there is an end to every story. I think Tendulkar should gracefully retire after the world cup and give way to awesome new players like Sureh Raina. Perhaps Dravid can follow Tendulkar as well.

According to me suresh raina is one of the overrated youngster from india i feel players like badrinath and gautham gambir has mor talent than this left hander but still preferred by indian selectors
to compare suresh against the little master sachin itself a wrong example on top of that stating sachin to make way for player like syresh raina is ludicrus
players like suresh raina will come and go but not the little master
it would be great if indian selectors give chance to inform players like gambir and dinesh karthik in coming saf tour

True. And that is where we all (fans) seem to get it wrong...

We keep comparing new batsmen with either family members (dad's, uncle's etc..) and then when they do not live up to those standards, we're dissapointed.

Anyhow, I hope Tendulkar continues to play as long as possible.

i love to see him play the way he played during mid ninties ,hope atleast this time aroun he will be more consistent than the last series against england here in india

In my opinion, Tendulkar is well past his best. In his last few outings against the Aussies, he has been a total failure which shows that his ability, to play quality pace bowling, has deteriorated.
