Thumbs up Indian school boys score 721 runs in 40 overs

Reminds us all of Sachin and Kambli. They also got recognition from a similar partnership and then went on to play international cricket. Where Kambli could not build a long career, Sachin went on to be considered the best ever by many in the world.

Whats special about this partnership is the rate at which the runs were scored. 700 in 40 overs means 17.5 runs an over. It must have rained sixes there. However, their opponents got out for 21 means they were not playing against a very strong team. Also, the victory margin of 700 runs must be a world record.

Obviously the lads are talented but you do question the standard of the opposition.Be interesting to see if either is a test player in a few years time.

The disappointment thing is, it has not been recorded in Video... scoring the massive runs and in just 40 overs and likes to see how many balls they changed in their innings...

Much too early to be branding them the next Tendulkar, but 721 runs in 40 overs is just astounding !

I read somewhere that the opposition soon gave up even bothering to chase the balls down as they sped towards the boundary... and that the opposition reply barely made double figures!

The other team were bowled out for 21 which meant that they won by 700 runs!Suprisingly, there wasn't a single six hit.
