Actually, it didn't. Even the normally miserly Vettori was going for over 5 runs an over in the low scoring match while Patel got seriously tonked. England's spinners did not do better either - Panesar hardly looked a threat. I think the subcontinental batsmen would have had a field day under those conditions.
