Indian Cricketers not being paid?

There have been some reports on this, but I thought it was just newspapers making waves. http://cricket.expressindia.com/full...ntent_id=85944

Until I watched an interview with Daryll Cullinan (he recently returned from Bangladesh where he was part of the commentating team). Now, according to him, some Indian players mentioned (whispered, as there is a gag order on them) that they have not been paid for 18 months.

I think I'm beginning to understand why the players opt for lucratrive sponsorship deals, Bollywood offers, advertisements etc etc...I'd also look for something else if my boss dont pay me.

Considering those sponsorship deal that you mentioned, I doubt if many of the top players even noticed that they have not been officially paid for 18 months.

But what about the other players (other than the top players)?
