Well Done India On Your Series Win In England.

Congrat's to India on their series win against England - in England.

At the end of the day it came doen to batting, India were able to apply themselves to whatever situation they were faced with, England were not.

In a way in the third and last Test at the Brit Oval - it was almost a shame Kumble scored his centuary, it would have been different indeed if a side (India) had scored a huge 600+, and no player had made a ton.

The future looks bright for India, but when the sides next meet in India in two years or so, it is hoped that Flintoff and Hoggard will be fit, and a young Bopara introduced into the side - so England can give a good contest.

Well done India, your series win was deserved.

Now it would be a huge turn up for the book, if England won the one day series, Hmmm.

Well done, totally deserved over the series and a nice way for Tendulkar,Kumble,Dravid and Ganguly to say goodbye to England in test cricket as i doubt any of them will be around for the next tour.

Of course, the history books will say Indian won the series (after like 3 decades or so) but we all know its not a convincing win AT ALL. The first game being drawn by rain (yeah yeah ,, part of the game) would've produced a different series result if India had lost it (rightly deserved), on the contrary, I think its England's team who fought hard to stand firm in the last game. Both Indian batting and bowling were at its usual disappointing level in the second innings of the last test.

Yes in the second innings on a featherbed of a pitch - but not when it mattered in the first innings.

Well India set out to achieve a series win, and the mammoth first innings made sure they got just that - India IMO played some very good cricket in the third Test when the pressure was on not to lose.

It seems bowlers and team want to win the series not the last test. They work hard but not as hard as to win the game because they knew they have already won the series.

There will always be an element of good fortune to this series win by India because of the close draw in the first test which England missed by a feather. The only way that India could have stamped their authority and made it a very convincing win was by going for the jugular in the third test. It could have been India's first innings victory on English soil. They had every chance on the 4th morning with dodgy batting condiitons but Dravid muffed it.
