Congratulations India, and yes, congratulations Australia. Thank you for one of the finest test matches played in the backdrop of historic possibilities. Thank you for reminding us and yourselves of being two of the finest cricket teams
Hmm - I thought this was fair comment from the site you game us a link to view.

I reckon India's confidence will be a big part. Obviously at a high now, they've beaten Australia in Australia, broken their winning streak and look pretty good. If they can say take a fair whack of Australian wickets on the first day or something, they'll be no stopping them.

I think India will be confident - however I believe that Australia will win for the same reasons Pakistan beat England in 2005.
How high can you get?.

God, i hope you are wrong Ern. I don't think i could handle another India loss.

A bit like the time i beat my older brother in table tennis when i was a kid - he grabbed the bat out of my hand and beat me up with it.

Hopefully India will win, everyone will be happy, and Australia can move on to a less drama filled series. Hmmmm, now who does Australia play next.............noooooooooo!!!!! - Pakistan

Actually Rachel, i seriously doubt the tour will go ahead. After what happened to Bhutto, there is no way anyone can say that they can "guarantee security"

Pakistan should not expect us to tour there and should agree to a neutral venue IMO.

That was overconfidence, Ern, not just confidence, India will know that although they won once, Australia have beaten them the two times before and that they have to keep everything in check.

Apparently the Karachi test is going ahead.

Rawalpindi may be bridge to far.

It's still very much up in the air. God knows what will happen there after the elections

Cricinfo - Pakistan consider switching tour to Australia

Since India's disastrous tour in 1991-92, the teams have met 21 times in Test cricket; the numbers now stand at 10-8 in Australia's favour. In the corresponding period Australia's record stands at 27-9 against England, 12-2 against Pakistan, 15-4 against South Africa and 9-1 against Sri Lanka.

Not bad at all...I completely agree that words like crushing do not fit for any team other than australia. If there is a team that can do complete justice of being world champions its australia alone
