Whats your opinion of dropping out Sourav Ganguly

Whats your opinion of dropping out Sourav Ganguly from the Tri series in February..i think the cheap politics and the BCCI selectors made this...they will have to repent for this...

He has struggled in Australia so it makes sense to rest him from the one day series where in all honesty he would have little impact.

ganguly is suffering from hip inury(according to john gloster team physio) and might breakdown in the middle of the tri series if allowed to play
and secondly, the odi in Oz is vastly different from subcontinent
the boundaries are long with better cricketing pitches(more bouncier than our pitches back home)often testing the physical endurance of the player not just the technique in batting, bowling or fielding
Without a doubt ganguly is one of the finest cricketer india has ever produced in both forms of the game
but i think its time for him to take some rest(at least for the reason of hip injury)

He is the 2nd highest run scored batsmen

Ganguly is the 2nd batsmen that has scored highest runs in all the innings...so how come he be seated outside..?

Ridiculous

Why should we say that he have to take rest...? he is the best batsmen...if he can play well then why the selectors cant select him..they have to think that he is 35 and only some more years for his career..Yuvraj is form out for many innings..they are not seeing him..ridiculous

i dare say...there is too much youth in this team and lack of experience. if the T20 performance is anything to go by, i think the indians r in deep trouble...i mean 75% of the ODI team has never played in australia so it will be difficult to adjust so quickly to the nature of the pitches here and the new players look woefully out of match practice. i thought it was meaningless to drop players like dravid and ganguly who are now accustomed to the conditions here and did decently well in the tests, ok ganguly wasn't athletic enough and might have an injury...dravid does pretty well in the 30 yard circle and his running between the wickets is decent. i think the selectors will realize what a stupid decision they've made after the series, i dont predict india making it even to the finals of this tournament...srilanka are a far better ODI outfit!!!!!!
