on the same note....i was there in the opening match of the world cup 2007 WI vs PAK. i remember me and my friends teasing people on the boundary, specially danish kaneria who we called "Salman Khan" a bollywood actor when he rolled up his sleeve. we also said... danish come back to india... with him being a hindu...sorta ridiculing the fact that non-muslims are not allowed too much religious freedom in Pakistan. he never seemed to care, he just smiled thats it. I also remember some of us calling Inzy "Aloo" when he passed by us. but we... the same people when we got the opportunity... rushed to take autographs from him :-) so yeah i guess players sorta dont take insults to heart. but racist comments are very very harsh....and shud not be done at any cost....good for bhajji he was acquitted....i am sure we indians rn't such people to make racist insults...specially since we have faced it since colonial times.
