rohit sharma

Hey guys what did you think of rohit sharma's innings today? I thought he played really well, played himself in at the beginning and accelerated later in the innings. he looks a solid player with good technique, runs well between the wickets and can play those shots to get the scoreboard moving later in the innings. i consider him a very bright prospect for the future. it was sad to see such a good knock go to waste as srilanka took advantage of the rain delay and D/L system to coast to an easy victory.

Got a good technique against spinners(also played well against aussie pacers)
would love to see him prosper
i feel he needs little more calmness (avoiding risky shots too early in the innings) against spinners

He looks good enough but without sounding skeptic, many others have flattered to deceive in the past. I would prefer to wait for some time before forming an opinion.

of course Nostromo, its early days in his career and things can go either way, but my first impression of him is that he looks real good. but whether he can perform to his potential is something only time can tell.

He looked really elegant when I saw him. Sharma and Gambhir look like being the next great strokemakers in Indian cricket, and Yuvraj Singh's going to be around for a while longer yet. Although as Nostromo said, w shouldn't be carried away yet.

Yes, Rohit Sharma is a good future prospect for Indian Cricket. Indian selectors has to groom these young cricketers and have to take care them and nature them.
