Which combination?

Which combination do you think best suits india. 4 bowler or 5 bowler.
twice their batting has failed in a row, against they coudn't chase down 200 against a bowling line up with no brett lee. and even today they only got through with 2 wickets in hand. many times teams play 5 bowlers just to be aggresive, which is not always the case. if you have got only 5 batsmen you ought to bat a little deffensively.
I think we should always go for 4 bowler combination, as i think people like sehwag and yuvraj are good enough as 5th bowler.

It depends on your definition of a "bowler". IMO, the man coming in at N0:7 (5th wicket down) should be a competent batsman, if not a specialist. In the Indian team, only Irfan Pathan fits that bill while being a specialist bowler. Kapil Dev was ideal for that position and India need someone like that to fill the role of a genuine bowling all-rounder.

i am much more comfortable with the 5 bowlers, it gives u options if that one odd bowler has a bad day plus u dont have to search for par-timers in those middle overs. realistically speaking bowling aussies out for under 200 is the result of maintaining pressure with 4 seamers on a good track. its just that poor shot selection brought about the downfall on sunday as well as today. if ur chasing 260+ plus then u might fall a batsman short, i really thought 6 good batsmen shudve been able to chase down 200 on a good pitch, and the 239 against Srilanka shouldve been chased down easily as well.
