P_C, as far as I'm concerned, Botham is a Cricketing legend in his own lifetime and deserves and earnt his place amongst Crickets greatest ever players - of any generation.
The fact that Botham was able to turn Test Matches and Test Series around from losing causes to victorious ones by the sheer weight of his personality and ability says more than his career stats ever will.
We simply need to accept that Rachael applies a completely different set of criteria to judging a players worth than the rest of us and I rather suspect that Bothams brute force offends her sense of cricketing purity and elegance and that leads her to ignore what he achieved in favour of disliking the way he achieved it.
Great player, lousy Captain, controversial pundit and loveable rogue!
