| Warne may make ashes comeback Quote:

| Why is this even a story? Before the 2003 WC, people said we'd struggle without Warne. Before the 2007 WC, people said we'd struggle without Warne. Not only did we not struggle, but we went undefeated both times. We can cope next year with MacGill perfectly well, and even if MacGill does fall over and break his leg, we can't just keep going back to Warne. |

| It's not going to happen, Warne was great but is the past of Australian cricket and we've all moved on. He should become a spin coach or consultant instead, despite his apparent contempt for coaching, as he seems to have done well so far in that capacity in the IPL. How much would Beau Casson, Cullen Bailey, Dan Cullen and whoever else benefit from that? If not Cricket Australia, the ECB should get an offer together and now! |

| Is this the same Shane Warne who is contracted to Hampshire, but who couldn't turn up for the early part of the season because he was busy playing poker? But he's found some time to do some coaching in the IPL, has he? Busy lad, it seems! I'm not sure how he'll be able to fit Australia into his schedule.

| Found time to play and captain one of the top IPL sides. And has been retained by the ACB to do some coaching with the upcoming Australian spinners. |

| Well bowling a four over spell is one thing, but could he bowl extended spells these days? Maybe, but unless he could prove it playing first class cricket, it would be too much risk. I reckon he is just trying to screw with McGills head to be honest. "If Stuey broke his arm or something" Also, i reckon Ponting has not forgotten the dramas that took place between Warne and himself last time they were in England, and is glad to see the back of him.

| Well summed up Seamer, not only is he only bowling 4 overs at a time but he has a few days off between games too so if he did have to bowl 25-30 overs on successive days how the hell would he cope. |

| Spot on seam as usual. Unfortunately I fear Oz will do very nicely without him. |
