Question for you guys who saw the earlier stuff but Hoggy looks to have a far better rhythm today than yesterday, maybe he was just undercooked coming in and is now ready.Did he bowl well well first up this morning?

Talking

Flintoff is brilliant.. and as i was barking earlier.. Hoggard has now performed and shown us all what he can do with a little bit of swing getting Ponting and then Gilchrist in the same over, but Pontings done the damage... he scored almost half of Australia's runs what an inning, i think Australia should declare once they reach 550 or close, the ball is swinging and it is not reverse swinging, its conventional!!! Mcgrath needs to be out there!!

I hope the Aussies get a ball that does nothing like we picked for yesterday.Makes it an even contest then.

Forgot about him.

500-7 and said spinner gets out.Didn't look like he fancied it much off Harmison.

Despite the fact we have had some success in the last 10 overs Clarke is showing the pitch is still a belter to bat on.

The longer australia bet the better, less time for England to bat.
If Aussie don't declare at tea, a draw is almost certain.

I agree Ern,if England bat sensibly then it should be a draw but you never know about Warne on a day 5 pitch. At present England should be looking to bat for at least a day and a half though as the pitch is still well in favour of the batsman.Do that and the follow on is saved, then it is all about how much time the Aussies have left to try to win it.

Draw far from certain I reckon. Aussies will have the runs on the board and there will be massive pressure on England to respond.

If we bat sensibly though there is nothing in the pitch to worry about for the next day and a half which should mean we save the follow on and if we do that then forcing a result will be difficult due to the time left.Obviously Australia are strong favourites but we should still be capable of going to Adelaide level.
