| Billy gave the LBW and Bucknor missed the no ball. As I said I don't think we should make a big deal about these; its part and parcel of the game. Also as previously stated these things tend to go against you when you're on the receiving end in a game. Even though in 2005 a few Australians were moaning about decisions, typically whinging Aussies I guess |

| England 118-5 at lunch. Jones - 19 no. Bell - 41 no, These two have shown how it should be done, to late to make a differnce.

| Unfortunately correct. We will lose this game but still loads to play for. We have to take as many positives forward as possible so imperitive we keep trying as hard as we can. Even when we get beat in this test if a couple of our batsman come away with 100s we can at least take that forward. BTW Warne is really coming across well in an interview on Sky at the moment. God I wish he was English. |

I personally realise that umpiring errors are part and parcel of the game. If Bradman had been given out at the Gabba in 1946-47, who knows whether he would have continued his career. |

| The problem is that unlike Lords - England are not going to bowl out Australia twice. It's doubtfull that England will bowl again, that really is the worst part, how can the England selectors know if Harmison has setled or not. Over Warne - even he has not done much on this pitch, Panesar would have made no difference on a pace bowlers wicket.

| I am not farmiliar with the 46/47 decision you talk about. Please fill me in. I do know he edged one to 1st slip on an England tour and stood and the Aussie umpire gave him not out. A decision I believe really annoyed Hutton. Sure Billy and Bucknor made a couple of mistakes in the last session but that is just the way it goes. IMO the best umpires at the minute are Bucknor, Bowden and Taufell. Of course they will make errors but these are fair human errors. That is the nature of the game. I was very lucky as my first captain was a knarled old Yorkshireman. He told me that if you play this great game of cricket for any length of time and complain about bad decisions its a bit like going swimming and complaining about getting wet. Its bound to happen. The way round it is to play better than the opposition and the brutal truth is the Aussies have out played us in every department in this game. Don't worry about decisions, we have got what we deserved here and thats a right good hiding. |
