Totally agree OF and with the injuries the Aussies have all the memories of 2005 will start flooding back.If McGrath has a heel problem we need to keep him bowling as much as we can in the hope it gets worse and he misses Adelaide.

Ponting's back has happened before and he missed an entire tour previously in India according to Michael Slater on commentary.

Flintoff gone - that could cause the English to fall over rather quickly now.

That, however, was a rotten shot by Flintoff. What was he thinking of? Disappointment was obvious enough in his body language, but this really is one he didn't need to do at this time.

Warne strangles Flintoff with a half tracker. Questions will be asked with the skipper, vice skipper and top scorer literally throwing their wickets away.

Langer celebrated before he caught it!!

With a bit more application we might have pulled off the unlikliest of draws, as it is 1-0 down going to Adelaide

I would not blame Flintoff for playing that shot. He was trying to be positive. If a ball is there to be hit, it should be hit. I believe the ball was short and should have been hit. It is a bit unfortunate that Flintoff mistimed it.

I've just seen the Flintoff replay and as well as Langer grinning and celebrating before he caught it, Warne gave Fred a sarcastic round of applause. No wonder the Australian team is so popular with other countries supporters

Let me just start off by pointing out that I have never been one of the "rain dancers" - rain ruins matches, it doesn't improve them. However, the forecast for tomorrow calls for possible afternoon storms. Ponting could still be worried about the result of this game and might rue the decision not to enforce the follow on.

A couple of my mates in Oz tell me the opinion of the public there is that they didn't want to refund ticket money if it didn't get to day 5.

I think the follow on decision is a little clearer now we know about McGrath's heel, they were obviously trying to protect him and give him a night's rest.
