NOBODY,BUT NOBODY could be bowling worse than Harmless Harmy, I saw my first test match at Headingley in 1948,and I have seen over 30 tests( various countries ) since, both in England & australia, and I have NEVER ever seen a worse bowler in international cricket,he was just as bad when he came on the last tour here in Australia, I understand a year or two ago,he was voted the worlds No 1 bowler, I can only presume the two judges were Stevie Wonder,& Ray Charles,,Maybe his problem is mental,in which case he should see Panasars, and Tresscothics SHRINK. because he certainly isn't an international class bowler by a long long way. We have at least 7 or maybe 8 fast bowlers who would jump into the England team ahead of Harmy if they were poms..

SEND HIM HOME,NOW.

I agree that at the moment, Harmy is bowling poor.

Well, you obviously did not see Mick Lewis bowl
You are being harsh here and if what you claim is true, then I guess Australia must be the worst batting side in the world because Harmison bowled them out in last years ashes.

Yes he was, although I never believed at any time that he is/was the best bowler in the world.
However, I believe that he is better than Brett Lee, who is one of the most overated bowlers in the world. Lee does not deserve his place in the team as he is expensive and hardly ever destroys the top order of a credible side.

Yeah right, is that why you struggled to bowl England out last year. I hope you are not talking about the likes of Gillespie, Kasprowicz, Hopes, Dory and Mick(economy) Lewis because if you are then you are talking rubbish.

No Harmy's shares have not dropped to the value of Gillespie ( Mr 130 kph tops ) or Kaspowicz ( Mr John Buchanans my mate )

1. Harmison did bowl poorly at the start of the last tour, but he is a very different bowler now
2. He got to the Number one slot on the ICC test ratings, based on performance not by voting
3. He has a 5 wicket haul against Australia, Brett Lee as yet does not have a 5fer against England
4. He has 180 Test wickets under his belt, not bad for the worst Test bowler you have ever seen
5. He has dismissed Martyn 5 times, Lara 4 Times, Kallis 3 times, Ponting 3 times.. so he is capable of taking the wickets of key players

Finally, if he is so poor, why does Justin Langer rate his over in the last Ashes as the key moment?

in his most recent BBC column Langer says this

Quote:
He (Harmison) is a very dangerous bowler because we know he has the ability to bowl a match winning spell.

From his great height he can never be underestimated and in spite of the criticism he, along with Flintoff, is the bowler we are most wary of out in the middle.

Pom Jonathon Agnew described Harmisons first over as,(the over from hell) no good bowler EVER bowls an over like that,he nearly put 2nd slip on his back with his first bowl. If he has problems playing away from home, then he should seek help before he tours.
