Not really, it's just a funny thing and quite hard to understand for others, at least it was hard for us. Probably there is some historical reason, some hate them because of their supporters (who are supposed to be loud and arrogant and rough etc etc), some I suspect hate them even without knowing why . You really don't need a reason to hate Collingwood, you just hate them and you'll fit right in anywhere except when you are in the midst of their supporters.
