First off im pretty darn ********** Panesar is not playing.. i think the English managment has lost it. Next Strauss and Cook both played stupid shots to get out, however Bell and Collingwood have consolidated well. England now 106/2, if anyone can just see how much turn Shane Warne is getting, Panesar would have been valuable here!!!

They need to make 400 runs.. pitch is pretty slow and anything around the 300 mark will be an easy score for the Aussies.

Chapple is a bit on the senior side, while kirtly is a walking chucing controversy...

It's painfully slow and tense just now...

I'm just trying to work out a 10 letter swear word!! Seriously with you on the selection. A major trick missed IMO
. I believe our manager said he is the best finger spinner in the world and then drops him!!

Time very rarely an issue in tests these days. Think we're doing OK.

England are doing fine. Runrate is not an issue.

I think the most important thing for England is not to lose this test. If they do the series is over, a draw gets them into the series anyway and would be something to build on.

Not that they should be playing negatively but with Clark, McGrath and Warne bowling very tight lines England just need to take it on the chin for the moment.

CMJ notes that Lee's finally (in his 11th over) bowled an over that is merits applause. First ball was going down the leg side but not by much.. and he made the batsmen play / duck the other balls.
Code:
53.6	Lee to Bell, 3 runs, Bell plays that well away from his body, through Hayden in the gully and good running from Collingwood who sprints back to the danger end
53.5	Lee to Collingwood, 1 run, slightly off line and Collingwood turns that to leg
53.4	Lee to Collingwood, no run, and Lee follows with a good bouncer which Collingwood has to duck with undue haste
53.3	Lee to Collingwood, no run, lovely yorker at 93mph (149.6kph) which Collingwood just gets the toe of the bat down on in time. More oohs and aahs, and with good cause
53.2	Lee to Collingwood, no run, played to point
53.1	Lee to Collingwood, no run, big shout from Lee as Collingwood hit on the pads neither forward not back . Bucknor unimpressed, rightly as that hit him fairly high up
Brett Lee back into the attack
That said... it's typical Lee: didn't really need the yorker and bouncer in the first over of his spell (and before the batsmen have looked to get after him). If he'd just use those deliveries sparingly (say once a spell rather than once an over) they would be far more effective deliveries.
