Well Australia will be happy to get in tonight only 1 down and they will expect to be able to bat all day tomorrow without too many difficulties. The pitch is doing nothing yet apart from the odd ball keeping low.I guess the main way of losing wickets will be the pressure of being so far behind which can sometimes make a batsman do things they wouldn't normally do.

I do not believe that the current Australian team will be under any sort of pressure when they bat tomorrow. After all most of their players are on the wrong side of 30 and thus highly experienced.

In addition the pitch has no demons in it to trouble any batsman.

Yeah its 3rd day, so Australia can bat at 4 and over and get to 500 odd by lunch tomorrow, they'll probably secure a minor deficit, but I expect England to lose the plot in the 2nd innings and get out for 180-200 runs, giving Aus kind of like a similar target to what the Indians had in that Adeliade match against India..which I expect Australia would win with the loss of 5-6 wickets - a bit off from my initial expectation of innings or 10 wickets win for Australia, but I'm still seeing an Australian win on the cards here.

In all honesty Z, I would be very disappointed with England if they manage to lose it from here - in fact, everyone would be! In my view, England don't really do spineless surrenders that often these days, so should be able to remain in the battle over the next three days.

Hmm...not really hate...or may be I do...I can't be sure...but then I don't particularly like/love Australia either...probably just that my level of dislike for England ATM is more then for Australia's...anyway, that's besides the point. But I really don't expect Australia lose, and can't rule out a win for them either.

Can't see Australia winning. The best would be a draw, which would give them a major boost for the rest of the series.

sorry day 3 will be tommorow but still same result though...

Australia will be very worried about Mcgrath and Warne without whom they do not have any hope of getting england out in the second innings..

Did you see that delivery from Flintoff that got Langer out?, that would have trouble any batsman, left handers more so i suppose.
