Now Flintoff is declared NOT out of the England side, I think we can breathe a little easier

If it's pacey like everybody says it is, Bell will struggle, as well Strauss (but he'll struggle whatever he's out of form right now and he knows it), Flintoff will do OK if it's pace, he's better at playing pace than spin. Collingwood will attempt to do a grafter's innings as usual, Pietersen will either make a big score or be out with about 3 runs to his name...as for the English bowling, Harmison better now **** from face this time, Flintoff providing he doesn't do himself an injury will do fine, as will Hoggard, and the other bowling options are not certain yet. Anderson, Panesar, Giles and Mahmood...any combination of that could be picked knowing the predicament that the selection committee is in.. hopefully we'll see Panesar... he deserves a chance after whopping Pakistan, hopefully Panesar and Harmison can bowl well in tandem like they did before...then again that's a lot of hope for, I'm just being hopeful

That is because they are both essentially Australians.

Strauss did not look too great in Brisbane & if the WACA is back to its old self(???) he will have more trouble getting over the hook shot.
Taking just their hook & pull shots in isolation you would think Cook was the one who lived here.

P.S. Stauss married a girl from Ballarat,(where I live) did he live here?
P.P.S. If Ballarat sounds familiar to you poms it is where the Hollioake Brothers grew up.

Kenny you are such a tease!
Strauss talks like Prince Charles, and Geraint Jones<the clue is in both the Christian and Surnames>is a fair dinkum, fully paid up ,one of my countries best "Welsh Boyos".
Bit like calling Kepler Wessells a native aboriginie!
or Alim Limb a cockney!
Sorry to hear Martin has fallen on his sword, whats his replacement like?
Anybody got info on him?
PS.Stewart for keeper, still better than our other two.

Looks like the Poms need to be given a 3-0 or 4-0 thrashing to know where they exactly stand, something they have have experienced throughout the last decade and half!!

Good to see our Australian friends are being as modest as ever.

Well, at least if Stewart shows his posterior off as much as the other match, it might put the batsman off! But Harmison will still not be able to hit the wicket
