How predictable that we would lose a couple of early wickets tonight to hand the initiative back to the Aussies.Typical England.

At least we should save the follow on before the close.

Lets see where the teams are placed at the end of two completed innings before getting exercise jumping to conclusions because you'll probably jump in the wrong direction

I think Collingwood will be very hard to get out on this pitch. It is a pitch where when you force the shot its when you get out. While Collingwood pushs and short arm jabs.

The thing I liked about England this time is they did not allow the Aussie tail to wag.

You have to punish these type of let offs.

Elliott did it in 97
Gilichrist did it in 2001
Pietersen did it last year
Ponting did it last test

Collingwood has to fail at some time though. England really need Strauss and Flintoff to contribute significantly at some point. England will need at least 350.

You are all of course forgetting that Rachael never watches the Test matches, she just goes on what the radio commentators say.

Yes Panesar leaked runs at an alarming rate, but then he attacked. Giles would have been bowling outside the leg-stump of the right handers and into the negligible rough left by the right-arm over bowlers at the other end.

Giles would not have bowled so many overs.

Giles should retire. Today.
