Well I guess Buckling under pressure has a different definition then,

being bowled out for 129 after over 1000 runs had been scored and then allowing the oppostion score at 4.5 runs an over all in one day is more like buckling under pressure.

But your right - we do have a difference of opinion.

I never said we didn't buckle under pressure in Adelaide.I just said you did in 2005 and this is the first time we have put real pressure on you in this series so it will be interesting to see how you cope.

Well, lets see England scored 6 dec 551 and had Australia at 3-65. I would call that having us under pressure.

So this is not the first time.

First time we have had an attack that might be able to exploit it.Bowling with a man band in Hoggard was never going to keep pressure on in Adelaide.

Also in Adelaide the next man in wasn't someone with a test batting average lower than Ashley Giles.

Jones showing why he should not be the keeper, Monty getting a bit of turn and he puts the ball down. Luckly there was no edge - but it was not far away.

Well I am under pressure - up in two hours with my daughter, so off to bed with radio.

A much better match - 82-3 is maybe just in favour of England, at least it's proper cricket.
Goodnight all.

Good Test cricket so far. England need to keep the pressure up.Hussey and Clarke if they can stay together for another hour can put the pressure back.

I hope Monty has been taken off to swing him around the other end. Otherwise, I have no idea why they would take him off

Well you have to give the quicker bowlers a chance to bowl downwind so i guess Monty will replace Hoggard at the other end.If not it shows Flintoff's captaincy up.

Monty has an end tied up which hasn't happened all series and must continue.

Hussey looks class, just adapts to the situation and gets on with it.
