50 for KP and then Hoggy goes.He lasted 39 balls though so he did a job.155-8 is still pathetic.Hopefully Harmison can blast a rapid 20 and get us close to 200.

Been impressed with KP this innings, except for the taking a run on the first ball of the over. Has really valued his wicket while still trying to dominate the bowling - in particular McGrath

KP cutting loose and McGrath dropped a dolly on the boundary.Doubt it will be as costly as Giles dropping Ponting though.

19 off 6 balls by KP with a towering 6 off Warne.

That was inevitable.Lee is too quick to try and smash back over the top.Cracking knock though,in comes Monty.

What are the chances of a Monty half century just to rub it in the faces of Giles and Fletcher?

Not likely I suppose.

Great innings? Good innings I think. The Mike Hussey method of batting with tailenders is more effective. But KP probably doesn't have the confidence in his teammates that Hussey would

Hussey gets to bat with Tailenders who can not only stay in, but can make runs.

While KP has to deal with the probability that they will get out. So in those terms it was a great innings - plus compare that with what the rest of the team did.

KP never really looked like getting out unless he was going for his shots.
