Been impressed with KP this innings, except for the taking a run on the first ball of the over. Has really valued his wicket while still trying to dominate the bowling - in particular McGrath

Great innings? Good innings I think. The Mike Hussey method of batting with tailenders is more effective. But KP probably doesn't have the confidence in his teammates that Hussey would

The Ashes are almost gone. Australia are doing what champions do they lost and they have come right back.

Hussey gets to bat with Tailenders who can not only stay in, but can make runs.

While KP has to deal with the probability that they will get out. So in those terms it was a great innings - plus compare that with what the rest of the team did.

KP never really looked like getting out unless he was going for his shots.
