This game reminds me of Christchurch 2002 when the bowlers had a field day for the first half of the game then the pitch flattened out and England set New Zealand 550 to win and they got 450 with Astle blasting it everywhere. That ended up a bit of a nervy finish.Be fun if we could get close and make them sweat a bit.

Sloppy dismissal in the end but you can't really complain.Warne was a bit happy to finally breakthrough, wonder if the pressure is getting to him a little after he had slagged off Bell and Cook saying they don't play him well?

We need another good partnership now to set the game up for tomorrow.

I do not understand why KP did not come in. He could have come in and scored runs quickly and put some pressure back on Australia - To me sending Collingwood out was a negative move by England

Good fight back. Loose shot by Bell. Why didn't they play like this in the first innings?

Collingwood has batted at 4 all series and has so far done a good job.It isn't as though it was someone who has been out of touch has come in.I am happy enough with the order.Got to get to tea without losing another wicket though.

Some of his historionics grate with me at times but you can't take it away from Warne. Sure a sloppy shot but Warne just never lets up.

Shame for Bell to fall short of his 100. The dreaded 87 strikes again. Also as I am mentally resigned to losing the ashes I enjoyed his innings without the tension.

We may yet have some cricket to watch tommorow and as one would assume most of this England team will be around in 2009 its important we drag it out as long as possible.

I'm with AY on KP at 4. Cant afford for our best player to keep getting stuck with the tail.

Stick Monty at 6 then with Harmison at 7.Can't do any worse than Flintoff and Jones.

Well we got to tea only 2 down,so far so good.need to get to the close no more than 3 down though.
