Thats a bit unfair. Murali's action has been cleared by the experts and it seems to upset you Aussies more than every one else; why is that do you think?

Regarding tainted records because of banned substances. This would be terrible. Imagine if the world record wicket taker was found guilty of taking a banned masking drug after just making a miraculously quick recover from surgery. That would truly taint any record they had don't you agree.

People in Sri Lanka already love their cricket, and although western influences are taking their toll (ie basketball etc), cricket in that country has a far more bigger support, than it will ever have in england im afraid.

On the subject of the thread, i dunno if this point has been made before, but James Kirtley has had a few problems with his action, thus keeping him out of the international scene, so the chances are that he would be called anyway, Daryl Hair wouldnt miss a tasty opportunity like this, to call an 'english player.'

If Murali was an Aussie, not only would be be the most un-australian looking cricket to ever play for them, but i doubt he wouldnt be called for chucking the way he has been...

What is all this "If Murali was an Australian he wouldn't get called" BS.

In Australia we have umpires who follow the rule book.
Shock,horror.
Lets sack them.

Lots of Australian cricketers have been called for chucking but unlike Murali they did not get the rules changed for them.
They changed their action or found another way to make a living.

Here is a question for you envious little people.

If Murali was an Australian would the I.C.C. change the rule for him?

dont even try to be logical with the aussies brian. We all know they are the most one eyed fans. If Murali was an aussie they'd hail him as the greatest ever. Even more if he was white!!

Dead spot on correct! The are like English football managers Fergie, Mourinho or Wenger. If the result goes against them they won't concede that anyone has the front to out play them.
