I "feel" for Kp, stranded yet again.

Jones' international career should be over now.

Harmison out now, looked a pretty dodgy decision. Not that it matters.

Boycs said it's a tailenders decision.

will he deselect himself?

pietersen needs to be moved up a place or two for the next test IMO.

will the line up change any (except for jones going - if he does) for the next test. i'd like to see dalrymple or joyce come in. they have to stick with monty now after giles has gone home.

as for harmison - intimidation by warne on rudy. shame.

Might be worth England going with 6 proper batsmen in the next test, try andd strengthen the batting. Avoid 5-0 anyway.

Strauss
Cook
Bell
Kp
Collingwood
Joyce
Flintoff*
Read (wk)
Hoggard
Harmison
Panesar

Given that Flintoff didn't seem to want to bowl Mahmood anyway, plus when he did bowl he looked particularly ordinary I don't think dropping him would really weaken the bowling that much.

England survive to lunch, they'll hold the Ashes for another 40 mins anyway.

Well that's it, Panesar out bowled by Warne. Ausses win back the Ashes. Very well played and big congrats to them.

Warnie on 699 wickets going into the next test at his home ground. Should be fun.
